ITA – Ponte levatoio sul canale romano del lago di Paola (progetto, 2008)

Il ponte avrebbe dovuto sostituire un ponte in mattoni costruito negli anni ’50 del secolo scorso, per consentire il passaggio delle imbarcazioni costruite da un cantiere esistente all’interno del lago di Paola (LT). Nell’occasione si sarebbe dragato il canale e consolidati i ruderi di epoca romana presenti sulle rive.

Purtroppo l’opera non è stata realizzata per il veto dell’Ente Parco del Circeo

ENG – Drawbridge over the Roman canal of Lake Paola (project, 2008)

The bridge was supposed to replace a brick bridge built in the 1950s, to allow the passage of boats built by an existing shipyard within Lake Paola (LT). On this occasion, the canal would have been dredged and the Roman ruins on the banks would have been consolidated.

Unfortunately, the work was not carried out due to the veto of the Circeo Park Authority
